No. Unfortunately, due to zoning regulations, we cannot have visitors at our nursery at this time. All plants can be ordered for pickup or local delivery, or purchased at various events that we participate in.

Send us an email with the plants you are interested in and the amount of each you would like. We will get back to all order requests within 24 hours. We are always willing to send pictures of the desired plants at your request. 

All orders can be paid during pickup or delivery unless the customer requests a payment link in advance. We can take card or cash as payment. All prices in the plant list include tax.

We offer free local delivery to all of Luzerne, Columbia, and Montour counties, as well as some surrounding areas such as Northern Schuylkill county. We may travel to other areas within reason for orders exceeding $100. 

If you ordered plants and are not satisfied with their condition, please let us know ASAP. Because plants are living things with a lot of variables influencing their health and appearance, we are always happy to work with our customers to identify and address any issues. We will offer refunds for plants depending on the circumstances. 

No. Bluet Native Plant Nursery uses integrated pest management to monitor and control non-native pests and diseases, with focus on exclusion. We never use synthetic pesticides or neonicotinoids, ensuring our plants are safe for insects and wildlife. That being said, you may see some feeding damage on some of our plants. We DO NOT treat or kill NATIVE insects who use our nursery plants as food. Remember, this is what native gardening is all about!

No. At this time, we do not have the manpower or resources to provide landscaping services, including design. However, we are always happy to provide recommendations for your garden based on site conditions (light, moisture, etc) and wants/needs (deer resistant, ground cover, etc).

Since all of our plants are seed-grown, we acquire seeds from a variety of sources. Many are sustainably collected from wild plants on our property here in Northeastern PA or from captive plants within our own gardens. Other seeds are purchased from reputable native plant nurseries and seed suppliers. We always focus on growing local and PA ecotypes whenever possible. If you are curious about the genetic origin of a specific species, feel free to ask!

At this time, we can offer this on a case-by-case basis. Since we are a very tiny nursery, we may not be able to accommodate particularly large orders, and we cannot guarantee that all plants can be available. 

No, we do not sell seeds currently. 

We try our best to grow a large variety of plants for a variety of uses. If you don't see any plants you are looking for, reach out to us and we can try to help you source it! We are always happy to help. We can also try growing whatever plant(s) you are interested in for the future. We are a very small backyard nursery, but we will always do our best to help.

We grow plants that are native to Pennsylvania and the greater mid-Atlantic region. Currently, our focus is on perennials, particularly those that are hard-to-find in the trade. We grow many species of perennials that are ideal for shade gardens, rock gardens, wet areas, or as ground covers. We also grow a few species of native annuals, biennials, and shrubs - but we are always working on expanding our inventory!
